Well that was a great time! Thanks to everyone who came out to our first show together in over twenty-five years. The Creative Alliance hosted our sold-out show on November 21st, while Human Being Productions and photographer Geoff Graham captured the performance. We were so excited to play together after our long hiatus, and all the people at the venue were kind and accommodating. Shout out to Director Alec Lawson, Production Manager Zori Patrick and Sound experts Adam Cooke and Rob Girardi for working with us to make it an amazing night. Because it had been so long since we played out in public together, we were all a little nervous, but mostly just so excited to see everyone and share the music again. We honestly weren't sure there were any fans still out there, but there you all were, singing along and giving us a standing ovation.

For me personally, it felt like I was hosting a big party, a special reunion celebration. I set about piecing together our history for a video to screen before we took the stage. That in itself was fun and gratifying to create. Going through pictures and video snippets and far back to our first cassette release in 1993, coming upon old recordings I had forgotten. I'm thinking now of tweaking the lyrics to "All This Love" and playing that live again, this time with Young Ron adding drums. I also bought 40 fake flickering candles to place around the stage, and long-stemmed roses to place on seats and on stage. Even though our light man and friend Mike Lurz couldn't be there, I wanted to create a beautiful atmosphere for everyone. I wrote the first issue of our new Riot Stuff, resurrecting something I used to do somewhat annually, depending on how much news there was to share with our fans. It was thrilling for me to write and create this again, and we brought them along to the show to give out to fans. Despite having a cold and not being 100% vocally, it was a great night. Big thanks to everyone who sang along during "Long Way Home," for our encore.

The 7 minute and 34 second video of Love Riot's history

Thanks to everyone who came out to see us after all these years. We love you.

Here's the list of songs we played that night, in order.

I’M NOT DEAD
YEAH YEAH YEAH
COUNT ON ME
MAYBE SHE WILL
TANGO
BETTER NOW
YOU ARE
I’M NOT YOU
HOWLIN’ AT THE MOON
SO MUCH
SO BEAUTIFUL

INTERMISSION

LOST IN YOU
HEAVEN CAN WAIT
HAPPENS EVERY TIME
ONE OF THESE DAYS
KILLING TIME
WHEN I SEE YOU
I BELIEVE IN YOU

ENCORE:

HOME
LONG WAY HOME

xo,

Lisa
