Love Riot in Baltimore Fishbowl

Years ago, Dan Rodricks, former longtime columnist for The Baltimore Sun, host of its “Roughly Speaking” podcast and WYPR’s “Midday With Dan Rodricks,” also created and hosted a beloved live television show called Rodricks For Breakfast. It aired every Saturday morning from January 1995 until October 1999. Love Riot had the honor of being house band for a few of these early-morning shows and we loved it. Lisa’s mom was a huge fan as well, and bought the ceramic roosters that helped decorate the set when the contents were auctioned off after the final show. Rodricks For Breakfast was uniquely Baltimore, and reflected Dan’s love for this city and state.

Love Riot and Dan Rodricks have always been mutual fans of each other’s work. It seems fitting to us that Dan would be the first to write about the band’s coming back together after all these years. In one of his current writing endeavors, Baltimore Fishbowl, Dan breaks the news. You can read about it here. Thanks, Dan!
